Office Style: From summer to fall

We can’t believe that it’s already the end of August! You know what that means? Fall weather and sweaters are in the not-too-distant future.

Mid/late August is the time to start incorporating some of your favorite fall items into your summer wardrobe. Check out a few easy ways the fashionistas at Silpada HQ are transitioning with the seasons in simple and subtle ways.

Blazer

Blazers: We’re still making good use of the warm weather by wearing our favorite summer dresses. To extend your wardrobe through the seasons, simply add a linen or cotton blazer; this addition not only provides structure to your outfit, but helps move your wardrobe into the cooler months. Silpada’s Merchandising Coordinator Jessica pairs an off-white sleeveless dress with an adorable gray cotton blazer–we think her look says perfectly polished!

Ankle Boots

Ankle Boots: An easy way to incorporate a little fall “spice” back into your wardrobe is by donning your favorite pair of ankle boots/booties. With a maxi, short dress or a pair of cuffed jeans this is a shoe that will complement any style. We love Silpada Copywriter Jania’s suede platform booties. With an open back secured with a stylish strap, these are perfect for both summer and fall.

Scarf

Scarves: Scarves are synonymous with fall—and we love them! During this transitional month, incorporate your favorite fall scarves with a bright, summery top. Our Manager of Brand Messaging Brooke pairs a plaid scarf with a hot pink tee—casual chic!

Arm Party

Jewelry: No matter if you’re in warm and sunny SoCal or already feeling a cool fall breeze in Nantucket you can’t go wrong with an arm party. These bright hues, worn by Silpada’s very own Social Media Specialist Katie, are perfect for summer and a splash of plaid from her skirt tie the seasons together.

Have fun mixing and matching your summer and fall favorites this season—we know we already are!
